Amex Gold Card earns 5X points on prepaid hotel bookings via AmexTravel

The Amex Gold Card now earns 5X Membership Rewards points on prepaid hotel bookings made through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel app. This new earning benefit took effect April 30, 2026, on the U.S.-issued card.
