Privacy & terms

Two short documents in one place: our privacy policy and our terms of use. Questions: contact@doubledip.in.

A / PRIVACY

Privacy policy

pointspaper is a curated aggregator of travel-rewards news. This section explains what data we collect when you visit or sign in, how we use it, and who else sees it.

What we collect

Browsing without signing in. We record nothing that identifies you. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, user-agent, requested path, timestamp) that we use only to debug errors and detect abuse. We also run Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures aggregate page views and Web Vitals without setting cookies or fingerprinting you.

Signing in with Google. If you choose to sign in, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google through the standard OAuth flow. We do not request any other scopes. We use this only to identify your account and personalize the site (saved collections, your avatar in the nav).

Your saves. When you save an offer, we record the offer ID against your account so we can show it back to you. That's the entire interaction model.

Cookies. One cookie: payload-token, an httpOnly session cookie used to keep you signed in. It expires after a short period of inactivity. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by pointspaper.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of infrastructure providers. They process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, database (D1), object storage (R2), and Web Analytics. Cloudflare sees the same request logs noted above.
  • Google— only when you choose to sign in. Subject to Google's own privacy policy.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run third-party analytics or remarketing pixels.

Your choices

You can browse the entire site without signing in. If you have signed in and want your account deleted, email contact@doubledip.in from the address tied to the account and we will remove your record and saves within seven days.

You can revoke pointspaper's Google access at any time from your Google account permissions page.

B / TERMS

Terms of use

By accessing pointspaper.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What pointspaper is

pointspaper is a free-to-read aggregator of travel-rewards news. Headlines and summaries on the site are generated by automated systems from public articles and editorially reviewed. Every offer links back to the original publication.

We do not own the underlying articles or images. They remain the property of their respective publishers and creators. Headlines and short editorial summaries on pointspaper are written for indexing and orientation; if you act on a deal, do so from the source.

Not financial advice

Everything on pointspaper is editorial commentary on points, miles, and credit-card promotions — not financial, tax, or legal advice. Deal terms change frequently. Always confirm offer details, eligibility, and terms at the source before transferring points, applying for a card, or making a booking.

pointspaper is not responsible for losses arising from acting on information surfaced on the site.

Your account

You can use pointspaper without an account. If you sign in with Google to save collections, you are responsible for the security of the Google account you use. We may suspend accounts engaged in scraping, abuse, or attempts to disrupt the service.

Disclaimers

pointspaper is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that any specific deal we link to remains valid at the time you click. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the site is limited to zero, since the service is free to use.

Changes

We may update either policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be announced on the home page and reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
